4% Sales Tax Form

Dear Greene’s Gas Company Customer,

Back in 1994 the Michigan sales tax was increased from 4% to 6%. Greene’s Gas Company was notified that customers who purchased propane for residential use, like you do, need only pay 4% sales tax.

We were informed by the Sate of Michigan the following certificate of exemption must be on file for you to receive the 2% exemption. In order for you to receive the 4% Michigan sales tax, the form below needs to be filled out and returned to our office.
